Is there a way to get a discount on new Fender basses?

Sign in to disble this ad
most of the exclusions apply to fender when the big chains have their sales. If i want to get the best price for a fender, could i apply say a mf coupon with a music 123 discount?

i understand you'd probably have to call someone to make this work but just checking ideas here

If you call GC they will usually do it. I just got $100 off the new Modern Player Telecaster bass that way.

Keep your eye on HELLO MUSIC. Daily updates at Noon, Eastern time. Best thing to do is subscribe and you'll get their latest sales at Noon, Eastern USA.

Then see if other Net retailers will beat that price.......

Well, I was in the same position recently and asked if GC could match a common 15% off sale that gets thrown around often, and asked if they could also kill the sales tax. For a J bass, $1299 - 15% = 1104.15.. They came back and said that they could do $1136.00 out the door. Our sales tax here is 9.5% fwiw. I pit the big box store against the big online stores (for their "no tax advantage"). In the end I was happy to pay about $65.00 more dollars to go with a smaller independent music store that has a great selection of great Fenders. I like being able to try a lot of things out and value that a little bit more than finding the absolute lowest possible price.

Good Luck.
