Couldn't see if it was the cheapo one, but didn't look like it. Likely Gibson era, looked like a decent deal.

It's not mine or of interest to me, but seemed bit lower than usual prices.

Without being any kind of expert, it looks like a Toby (the cheap one) and is therefore very overpriced. Hard to tell from the photos though ...

Also, Barts aren't standard on the Toby so this might mean some upgrades have been done.

That's not a Toby. Knobs are in the typical genuine Tobias locations NOT Toby 4 triangle spots. Looks like a Basic model to me.

Agree with scubaduba...that is a USA Tobias Basic. Can't really see clearly from the pic, but it appears to have the older (90's) style bridge, meaning that it was more then likely Nashville made.

My personal experience with Nashville made Tobias basses is that most are very good...if not excellent, but a bit over priced new. Every now and then one turns up that has absolutely terrible quality control in the construction.

If this one plays good, it is a very fair price.

All of my experience with the Nashville bolt-ons has been very disappointing. I wanted a Growler so bad back in the day, but all of the used ones I ran into later on had the worst warps in the neck. Even the Killer B I played was awful...

This looked better than those and I always see the Gibson era neck thru ones going for at least $1200, so if it was local to someone, it's a good buy.
