I think its an add-on if you already have Pro Tools

it's a plugin (add-on) to your existing DAW. I'm fairly certain it's meant specifically towards Pro Tools users, though I might be wrong. It is basically a channel strip modeler.

Every one of these SDOTD software deals that I've seen has been for an obsolete version, some of which won't work with 64b or anything after XP or whatever. Check before you buy.
