It will probably weigh less than the shipping weight, but more importantly I think this is an epic moment in bass amp pricing. This thing comes in at $.068 per watt, after tax ($248). So a 200 watt head should be around $14 with this pricing. It is also about 60% less than other online retailers are selling this for, and probably at cost or below.

That said, I doubt this is an equivalent 3600 watts to what we are used to playing. I will not gig or travel with this. I will, however, purposefully blow up an old Avatar 1x15 (if it is capable), and I will then resell it for what i paid.

Review and Avatar doomsday video coming soon.

Also, knowing behringer/bugera ratings, the 3600 watts is likely a VERY generous rating at 2 ohms bridged.

I am sure you are right. The Avatar cab will probably win in the end. I could not get the manual to open on my mobile device, but I am sure you are right about 2 ohm, bridged.

BH500 for $343 shipped with Amazon Prime.

http://www.amazon.com/TC-Electronics...697085&sr=1-41

These are great amp heads, and the price is around what I paid for mine when I price matched. You get what is mostly the same feature set as the RH450 in a slightly larger and heavier package for far less $.

No one will get a PM. I place my bets on the story either being made up or somebody seeing something they thought they saw that cannot be replicated.
