| Update: They called me back a few minutes later and told me that the bass actually hadn't been sold yet. I asked the GC salesman questions about the condition of the bass and about the neck, to which he replied they were all in good working order. I then mentioned the price of $699 and he replied "Oh, that must be a different bass, let me go grab it." He came back to the phone a minute later, and started to describe the problems of the bass listed for $699. I asked him if it was a Stage II, and he said it didn't say stage II. I asked if it had neck inlays, and he said no, so I informed him that the bass pictured on the website for $699 was not that bass.
So, GC messed up and posted the wrong pic on the description. It is a streamer standard 4 string, instead of a Stage II 5 string. I guess the listing did say 4 string, so that should have been the first flag that went up indicating a mistake on the listing. Bummer. I thought I was gonna finally get the bass I've dreamed of owning for the ultimate deal. It's like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Good looking out though KUNGfuSHERIFF.
By the way, I was originally judging by the info provided in the original post and hadn't looked at the picture on the site.
