Hey Eric!!

This is actually a REALLY nice combination. Light, and very bright sounding. A Bart/Bart PU and pre would complement this nicely.

If I was in the market for a high end 5, this would be high on the list!!

Yeah, this bass had people "oogling" when I was there playing it, we couldn't get over how great it sounded. The B string is out of this world aggresive while the highs sing, it's a very musical combo.

The neck is so nice... I figured that with the rather large grain that ash has it would feel very rough, not the case. The neck had an almost silky finish.

I have an MTD that might be done by the end of December that has just about these same specs just a different top, when I played this bass it made my wait feel a little bit longer..
