Which combo for my 1978 Rick 4001

Just got a 1978 Rick 4001. Looking to get a combo amp that will bring out the best in her. I am no slapper or funk merchant, mostly rock based singer/songwriter stuff. I prefer 15'' speakers...is this old fashioned and are new drivers just as good? Was thinking about Trace E gear. Too modern for an old bird like this? Don't do much live playing at mo, mostly recording. Whit aboot Hartke?

I think a 78 Ric would sound good through anything

Mesa Walkabout Scount combo, you can use the 12" or the 15".
I personally go with the 12" in an 8ohm.

Something to think about...

I have a 4001. For 26 years, I used two combos, and stacked 'em, and that was my rig. If you use the Rick-O-Sound, you can run it out to two amps. Mine were both Rolands. A Spirit 30W and a BN-60. I ran the treble out the little one and the bass out the big one. Sounded sweet. I recently got my first stack, but man, those were sweet while they lasted.
