DarkStar pick and East PRetro preamp...

Ok, so!,
I got an American P with a Hammon DarkStar P pickup installed. I'd like to try out an East PRetro...but I'd have to get another Pbass to make use of it!...OR DO I!!?? 😄 Anyone ever seen a PRetro hooked up WITH a Hammon DarkStar!? Please!, let Me know!

I would leave it as is. If you dont like it then sell it. Putting a preamp on a hard to find boutique pickup sort of defeats the purpose of said pickup.

Also better to post this in PICKUPS/ELECTRONICS not in BassCentral's Forum. BassCentral is a great retailer but unlikely to get you the answers you are looking for.

I have one in my lakland dark starred pbass and think it sounds awesome. It requires no modification to the existing bass so it will not affect resale just keep your old pots
