Elricks Jazz Bass

Hello,

I have posted another thread asking for information on Elrick Jazzes, but as I am new on here I just noticed the Bass Central area and thought you would be the best people to ask.

I am just wondering what the string spacing and neck dimensions are like compared to say a MusicMan Stingray?

I live in the UK and you cannot get Elrick Basses here, but I really really want one after reading about them. I am unsure on whether to go for a 4 or 5 string, and was just wondering how they compare to MusicMan 4 and 5 strings as I have owned both. Are they slimmer necks and wider spacing or just smaller in general?

Sorry to ask so many questions but the two I have really fallen for are both on your website.

I hope you can help.

Many thanks,

Nathan

Hello.*

NathanJ,
Thanks for the inquiry...

Musicman:
4string 19mm or 3/4"
5string 17.5mm or 11/16"

Elrick:
4string 19mm or 3/4"
5string 19mm or 3/4"
(Adjustable side to side spacing on saddles)

Going from fretboard to back of neck:
Musicman 5string necks feel more substantial to me. The Elrick's have flatter necks on the 5strings than the Musicmans do. Not saying one feels better or worse (that's up to you & the voice in your head that you argue with)

Feel free to shoot us an email and we can give you any more details you might want.

*(Lenny & Squiggy) If you don't get it, google it, you'll laugh, if not, you must be a drummer.
