Low F# on a 7-string?

Just saw this on craiglist, looks like the owner converted his 7 to include a LOW F# string on top! Wow.... anyone try anything like this?

Doesn't the Mod Jon Turner play a bunch of 7 string Conklins?

apcinstruments.com has a killer low F# 7-string. they had it at NAMM, the ECF45. amazing. a new-standard direction
however, chris has decided to never answer his phone, respond to any messages or any emails whatsoever... so it's a moot point...

I have the same model that's in the ad, and it's strung with a low F#. No conversion required on the Conklin Bill Dickens model, just adjust the bass boost in the control cavity after stringing it up.

If you have a use for it, the low F# rocks Doesn't fit every style of music, though.
