I absolutely loved my 400+. I should be getting my new to me Titan V-12 tomorrow, so i'll know more then. I'd love to try their cabs, but can't find any around me.

After numerous interactions with different folks at Mesa I am love with the company. They performed free upgrades on my 2nd hand amp, tracked down equipment for me, and today answered the phone immediately and gave me some technical (for me, anyway) info that saved me about $200.
Good on ya Bass Central! |

Actually, MusicMan used to have a similar policy about shipping. Here's what happened to change the World and these companies' policies:
THE INTERNET!
The Fixed pricing is still in effect, but shipping is now AOK. Remember, Mesa has only like about 150 dealers (hand-selected) in the USA, so there have Always been tons of players who didn't live close to one of them, thus, couldn't try them or buy them.
I think this will work out well for all parties.

I've been checking basscentral.com for the past few weeks hoping one pops up.
When I can afford the two Bag End cabs I'm looking for I'll probably end up ordering them through you guys at basscentral since you seem to have the best price for them. |

If I were to do it again, I would just get two 2x12's as they are about 25lbs lighter - and that makes a big difference at 2:00 a.m.! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
