Sorry, but that is unacceptable. | Amen, +1, and any other confirmation you might think of. UNACCEPTABLE!

Both of which I have disabled. I don't need to be *that* connected to TB to be instantly notified every time someone sends me a message or responds to a thread :P |

It is pretty sad to me that they haven't checked on their own forums for almost 2 months now. Out of curiosity, I sent them an e-mail last night right after replying to this thread, and they just replied about 20 minutes ago. |

| | | | Lots of guys seem to get good service and some get no service. I was thinking of buying some gear but I live nowhere near Bass Central, so I'm willing to do it only if I can be sure that I will get good service via email - which is more convenient for me than phoning in. I could be one of the guys who gets a response, or I could be one of the guys who doesn't.
It baffles me that any business ignores the OP's emails and posts on this forum. To be trusted, you have to be consistent. I would like to deal with bass specialists, but there are lots of them out there. Just can't take the chance with Bass Central despite the fact that many of you do get good service. Why risk it? |

Why risk it? | Faraday, I have been dealing with Bass Central for about 2 years now have gotten nothing but top notch service from them. I do know this with them, they are extremely busy all of the time so it is possible that an e-mail may have been missed my the OP or accidentally never delivered. Like others have said, he should have either e-mailed again or called. When he called before, the time signature on his post was almost 8pm. They close at 7pm so that is why they weren't there but all he had to do was leave his e-mail address on theri message machine and they would have responded back to him that way if he let them know that was his preferred method of contact.
Anyway, if you get a hold of them, I can't say enough good things about Bass Central and the folks that wirk there. They really have done many wonderful things for my family and I both.
Jay

Unbelievable that they still didn't read a thread in their own sponsored forum... |

If a company doesn't want my money, I am not going to beg them ;-)
If a company offers an email address as contact, they should pay attention to it daily. If that's too much work, don't offer that option. Simple.

They were most likely aware all along and being professional, not responding. I emailed them last night to see what would happen and they got back to me this morning. The moment someone airs their dirty laundry about a company , the company, most likely, will just ignore it. Even if its about bad communication. NO ONE ELSE had a problem contacting them.

Hi,
How much is it delivered to zip code 11106?
subject of the email was the item name. |

You shouldn't have to formally greet each other and all of that to get info on a product/service. It is more rude not to respond to an email than to just respond with $___. I know some people get luck with their emails answered, but answering only %50 of emails is not good customer service. |
