Opinion and advice

Please let me first tell you that ishopped a couple of times with you guys and you were great, i think Bass Central is one of the best bass shop out there!

The only "complain" i have is that the web page design is not good at all. It has been the same for years now and its not appealing for the eye. The structure of the page is not that bad. But i think the design and the fact that the homepage is FULL of advertisments and pics of owners and news etc its not that appealing.

Maybe its just me, so if someone its with me or against please comment!

I like the layout of the site. It's sorted by brand and then number of strings or series depending on brand.

The only complaint I have is that it isn't updated all that often. I asked them about a purple SR5 a few months ago that is up on the site, they sold it months ago and it's still up on the site.

I happen to like the layout of your site. I can find what I'm looking for with relative ease (except strings). But I do wish it was updated more frequently to show that something is or isn't available.

Thanx for the Input and Please Read This re Website.

Guys, thanx for the input.
Re the website updates and inventory content, we actually do additions, deletions, and adjustments several times per week.

However, give our enormous inventory, it may not seem to change, since these changes probably constitute about 1% of the stock. We keep 800 basses in stock and another 300 on order at all times (plus, countless amps, cabs, etc.).

Also, for example, we probably won't delete every MM StingRay that's sold, since it's exact replacement is nearly always Already on back order, coming in soon. These also act as "catalogue show pieces" so an interested party cab get an idea of what a certain color may look like.

Now, having said all the above, I DO realize that we ARE behind on removing some items, no doubt. Sometimes we neglect/overlook removing an item that we'll never have again. My apologies for these inaccuracies. We're still working on a better system, trust me.

Ideally, I could afford to hire One guy that did Nothing other than manage the website, but that's not realistic, unfortunately. Everyone hear wears a number of hats.

If any of you care to specify item(s) that you question the availability of, please let me/us know, we'll act accordingly......

***For the record, we do get LOTS of compliments on the look/layout/navigation of the website.

Thanx again.

Hey Beaver,

Since someone mentioned strings, I noticed you have DR Black Beauties 6 string for $45. Is that the String Club price or is there a discount on top of the $45 if I buy 3 sets?

Any Prices Qouted on the String Club Page Are 3 Set Minimum Pricing to take any of the Confusion or guesswork out of it for everybody. If you scroll up to the Top of the String Club Page you will see that mentioned .

Ok, I noticed Just Strings had them cheaper so I wanted to make sure I was understanding the string club policy. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
