Missy Raines and the New Hip

Got a chance to see Missy Raines and her new band last night. They are excellent! They play very little bluegrass...it's more jazz-oriented. They're all excellent musicians and, of course, Missy is a master of the upright bass. Catch them if you get the chance.

Having seen both Missy and Byron House in one week made me really feel inadequate as a bass player!

Yes, I guess I should have made it clear I was referring to her band and not an orthopedic procedure.

However, maybe I should start a band called the "Bad Knees".
