My first post!

Thought I might do an intro.

I live in southern Indiana. Have had my bass for about 2 years.
Its a 68 kay with gut strings and I love it! I got kinda of a late start in life playing bass but have been watching upright players for a few years now and would always think, I want to do that. I grew up watching my mom play electric bass in a country band for years. Always watching and paying close attention to what she was doing. It was over 20 years later when I picked it up myself.

I play in a bluegrass band and all of us are new to this.
We have played out 4 times so far. What a blast!!
There is a bluegrass jam every saturday night within a 45 minute drive of my house.
