Pickin' & Trimmin' bluegrass video

This year, at The Red White and Bluegrass Festival, one of our vendors will be the folks of the Drexel Barbershop, so beautifully captured in the video called Pickin' & Trimmin'. We're glad to have them and since the passing of barber Lawrence Anthony in 2009, there's now an effort to help them keep the barbershop picking scene alive for years to come. You can be a part of this at the link below.

I met with Carroll Anthony, son of Lawrence Anthony (older barber and owner of the barbershop, now deceased) on Thursday. He wants to keep the scene alive and there has been some response through the link above. Matt Morris, the videographer, helped Carroll to set up the page, since he felt a real need to help keep the barbershop and the jam alive. If you feel so inclined to help out, any amount will be greatly appreciated. Any sharing of this info among your musical family and friends will be appreciated as well.

HI Mike!

That place looks like a lot of fun and the real deal. The last link on your post does not work.

I'll gladly head over and sit in with those fellows anytime you want.
