Are you playing double bass in this group? Just curious, because you profile makes it seem that you don't.

Skinny.......was that a character out of that Robert Mitchum movie "Thunder Road"?

#1 - I guess my profile hasn't been updated in about 18 months. I have had my double bass for about 16 months and Skinny & The Bootleggers about 9 months. Our CD was back to us on June 9, 2009.

#2 - No idea, but he has been called Skinny for about 30 years that I have known him.

My problem is that it is also the same for me for motorcycles and bicycles. I only own two motorcycles now, and three bicycles, but I did have five motorcycles.

I have gotten ride of most of my music stuff, except for one fretted electric signed by Nick St. Nicholas (steppenwolf) and Rick Derringer when we opened for them about a million years ago. I also have a fretless electric and my double bass.

The CD release is tomorrow at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak, IA. The opening act starts at 7:30 and we should start around 8:00 p.m. with about 90 minutes of music.

If you are in the area, please stop on by.

We had a great turn out and everything worked out like we had hoped. We are hoping to get more local accoustic performances in the facility and now that we have gotten it started we will have to work hard and making the next one on August 8th be advertised very well.
