10th fret problem...

The 10th fret of my bass seems to have a dead spot or something.... it has a lot of buzz in the E, A, and D strings and it only goes away if I raise the action a lot.... I need some help on this please

You might need to tweak the truss rod.

It's probably fixable.

yeah... the thing is that it buzzes on the 10th fret not 1-5 or 12+ so I dont know what to do... and like I said I need to raise the action A LOT to make the buzz stop

Go to a good repair person and have it checked out for the possibility that your tenth fret may be a hair higher and needs some leveling.
