18.5 mm Bridge on an SX

Has anyone successfully installed an 18 mm bridge or larger on an SX Jazz Bass? I have a fretless one that I intend to modify and the bridge will be one of the first things to be changed. If some one has had this done, please let me know what bridge you used. Thanks.

These guys had an 18.5mm version of this bridge: http://bit.ly/2xJEYo for a while and I snagged one to put on an SX dual-soapbar model. The problem I had was that the neck on the SX wasn't quit wide enough at the very bottom to deal with the large string spacing and the outer strings were right on the edge of the neck. I went to an 18mm and was much happier with it.
