anyone know if there is any source for Mosrite parts other than ebay? My new toy needs a pickguard and a bridge cover. Thanks.

Thumbs up

Congrats on your new toy. I have a '72 Ventures style and a '66 Ventures signature autographed by 3 of the original Ventures - Don Wilson, Bob Bogle and Nokie Edwards - and the original drummer's (Mel Taylor-deceased) son, Leon Taylor, who now plays drums with them. In any event, I have not communicated with him in a while, but there's a real, real nice guy in Australia that is an expert on Mosrites, in fact wrote the history book for Mosrites and identification, named Tim, that I found to be extremely helpful in getting some parts, and even a new Mosrite case a few years back. Give him a shout and see if he's still around and can help you. The address I have for him is tim@tymguitars.com.au. Let me know if you don't get him and I can check some reference material that I have stored for other info. Good hunting.
