Question 1st Bass Setup (Fender Jazz Bass Marcus Miller)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey TB'ers,

I'm heading to a recommended local bass shop to get the 1st setup on my Marcus Miller Jazz Bass.

I usually just go in, and let them setup my basses. But I really want to make sure that my MM is setup PERFECTLY.

Do you guys have any advice on a good setup for these MM basses?

Thanks in advance.

the fretboard has such a big radius or small for that matter that it is hard to set up if you have no experience in setting up a bass... you have to take in consideration the playing style, the amount of bending... and it is hard to get the right heights with out measurements...
