2 piece bridges?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for a 2 piece bridge, similar to the Warwick Bridges, but with 19mm spacing. Can you buy an Alembic Bridge-only? Any other 2 piece makers I might consider? Thanks!

Warwick sells their bridges as well, and I've heard that their replacement bridges are about the same price as an ETS bridge (although ETS does not have a price list online, so I can't confirm it).

Other than that, for a 4-string, www.basspartsresource.com has some tune-o-matic style bridges.

Thanks! I saw the tune-o's, but I need a fiver. The Warwicks are 20mm, and as silly as it sounds, I was looking for a 19mm.

Not silly at all. I was immediately turned off to Warwick when I saw the 20mm as well.

I play 6+ strings and prefer 16.5 - 17mm spacing.

Most Warwick bridges have at least 1 mm of adjustment to the string spacing. On my 4 string, I have it set at 18 mm (down from 19mm standard).

Also, their standard spacings are:
- 4 string...19 mm
- 5/6 string...16.5mm
-broadneck 5/6 string...20mm

I'm sure someone with a broadneck 5'er could verify if it could go down to 19mm for you.
