20 fret and 21 fret neck : same body?

I have a 20 fret Geddy Lee and I wanted to get a downsized jazz body in a natural finish through Warmoth. I noticed their 21 fret necks have no overhang. My question is would the 20 fret neck fit on a body possibly meant for a 21 fret bass? Wouldn't the pocket be wider and the spacing the the bridge holes be off or would it be more of a slight intonation issue? Anyone have experience with using warmoth as a replacement body source?

A standard 21-fret Warmoth neck does have an overhanging fingerboard. Warmoth neck pockets conform to standard Fender specs, so if your Geddy Lee neck is a genuine Fender it should fit a Warmoth body.

I remember reading over on Warmoth's web site where someone had trouble putting a Geddy neck on one of their bodies. Something to do with the neck pocket not being right. You might want to check in the gallery, I'm pretty sure that's where I saw it.
