So I got my 2011 jazz deluxe in just a few minutes ago. I pulled it out and checked it out, looks great. So I go to do my normal setup on it. The neck has a slight front bow that I wanted to get out. Went to turn it and it turn very easily with no force at all. Kept turning and noticed the neck wasn't budging and noticed the truss was unscrewing completely out of the neck. I'm assuming this is a broken truss rod?  |

I made numerous calls to fender and fought with them until they finally gave me a new neck. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Burnsville, MN | | | If you're turning it to the left (counterclockwise) then it will work it's way out. You are loosening the nut. If you turn it to the right (clockwise) it should tighten up and take the bow out of the neck. |
