44-01 truss-rod question.

I bought it yesterday and it has the rod adjustment from...where the bolt are (forgot what it is called,neck pocket?)
I don't know if it is the same with the rods that are adjusted from the headstock.Which way to turn for relief or tighten?

I am still not able to do a proper setup,I searched and couldn't find.

turning it counterclockwise should incease the relief. Vice versa.

If in doubt, turn it a quarter turn one way or the other and see what change it makes.

It is just the opposite as I figured,thanks for the input though!

yeah, you turn the truss rod the same way regardless of whether its at the headstock or by the neck joint. clockwise straightens the neck, counterclockwise adds more relief.
