5 string Gotoh 206 bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
I have what I think, is a Gotoh 206 bridge on my Fender RBV. There are adjustments for height, string width, intonation and.........another screw to lock down the saddle? After setting the string height, do I set the lock down screw, just enough to keep the saddle from moving back, or do I lock it down all the way? Locking it down all the way, causes the string height to go up. Sorry for being stupid.
