51P bass replacement bridge: string thru body and bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
For my 51 P bass reissue:
Looking for a replacement replacement bridge that does both string thru body and bridge.
Don't really care if it's two saddle or four saddle.

Thanks for leads and links;
alan

I've used the Fender American Deluxe bridge on several '51 RIs and Sting Sigs. It was a drop in replacement on the basses on which I installed it.

This one:

BTW, the picture shows 5 mounting screws but it only takes 3 screws to mount that bridge.

If you want to maintain the vintage cosmetic, Wilkinson makes a nice 2-barrel bridge:

basspartsresource.com has them but you can usually find them much cheaper on ebay.
