6 string Warwick bridge needed...

Sign in to disble this ad
Where can I buy a 6 string Warwick bridge (other than Warwicks website, based in Germany!) I was going to purchase the bridge from the website but shipping alone was going to cost me over 80 dollars! This may end up being a necessary evil, but I would like a cheaper alternative. Any suggestions are welcome. Worst thing that can happen is that I pay the piper or buy the generic hipshot.

I'd maybe register & ask at the Warwick forums- I think you can get there via Warwick's site. That or contact Dana B. Goods(assuming they still distribute WW).

I actually am a member over there also...My name is Llama...

I just pm'd humpy thumb about this and he gave me the information I needed. Hanser Music Group is the new US distributor for Warwick. I'll let you know what happens.

I have already received an email from Hanser. The email stated that I need to call for current pricing, not a generic email either. It did answer some specific questions I had. I'll call early next week. I am just amazed at the quick response, especially considering that it is late saturday on a holiday weekend. Looks good so far.

update - I called the phone number I was given today. The price for the 6 string bridge is around $135 shipped. That beats the almost $165 if I bought it from Germany. I am still undecided on what to do. I am going to mock up the body design when my new neck arrives, and try out some ideas. Its either the Hipshot, the Warwick or something else...kahler?
