'66 Mustang Bass Restoration ...Help Needed!

Sign in to disble this ad
Please note: I posted this same note on FDP...

I'm looking for a set of washers & large screws for '66
Mustang Bass tuners (paddle kind)...I believe they're nickel plated...

I bought the bass in pretty rough shape...and I'm in the process of resurecting it...I have someone refinishing the body to the original Daphne Blue color (Light Relic Job)...I know that we could debate the relic thing 'till the cows come home - but I like it ;>)...I'll post the pictures (before & after)...not really sure I'm going to play it much (I prefer P-Bass) but I figure my kids will when they get older...what better bass to learn to play on than what I did!?!

I don't want to buy Mustang reissue tuners just for a few pieces...I just need the 4 main large screws & washers...can't find nickel plated stuff anywhere! ...soemone replaced originals with really odd shaped screws & washers (hope they're not stripped!)...please help!

Thanks!
JR
