75 Jazz Bass with fret buzz...Help!

Sign in to disble this ad
So I just picked up at 1975 Fender Jazz Bass, and had it set up. Plays great and sounds amazing, but it seems to have some fret buzz on the G string on the 15th fret only. The neck looks straight and and only seems to buzz really bad when I strum the string. Could this be that the saddle on the bridge needs to be raised a bit or that the fret actually needs leveling? I've been playing bass for many years, but have never been a repair whiz! Suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
