75' Jazz Neck Plate

Hey guys,

My three bolt seems to be giving me problems. The neck shifts around. Any ideas? Should I put a 4 bolt on?

i would try doweling the holes in the body and neck first and re-mounting the neck. ive got a late 70's body that ive got a 4 bolt neck on. the body was drilled for the 4 bolt neck but there was a lot of slop. doweling fixed the side to side play moreso than shims on either side of the neck pocket to fill the gaps.

You might consider converting it to 1/4-20 machine screws & threaded inserts.

Go to the hardware store. But some faucet screens. Drop four in the bottom of the pocket. Put neck on, set it and crank it down. It shall shift no more.
