| 95 Fretless P/new fretted neck

Seeking advice on what to do with a 95 fretless P bass that I'd like to switch out for a fretted. I've checked reliablefender on ebay and there are a lot of options....used/new CIJ RI's,US standard,American,P bass lyte,62 US RI,etc.. Any other places that offer a wide variety?
We,my sons and I,yes, this might turn out to be family community property,like the vintage idea/look but most of those US reissues are too wide a neck. We all like rosewood boards so that narrows it down some. Will various P bass necks fit a 95 neck pocket? Or, will a Jazz bass neck fit in a P bass neck pocket without any fitting ? Thanks for any advice or info. |
