I purchased this bridge I believe is an ABM bridge but am not sure.

The 1st photo is the one I bought, the 2nd is an ABM. What do you think?

it may well be one.
Why not send the pic to abm and ask them?

ABM's are made out of a block of brass and are $160 for this bridge. I paid $20 for it from a seller who didn't know a lot about it. So I am hoping when I get it, it is ABM.

I tried to email them through their website and it never seems to work. Since they're in Germany, I can't call them.

The first one looks nicer with the green background and that's good enough for me. Other than that, I don't see anything grossly abnormal.

I figured for $20 it was worth the gamble. Even if it's a copy, it's a perfect one at that. And if the metal is not brass, I don't think I'll really care because my existing aluminum old Wilkinson I want to replace sounds great, it's just 15 years old and a piece of junk.

They look similar. The ABM bridge is used on the USA Peavey Cirrus. A great bridge on a great bass.

The seller said he got them from Washburn and they are used only on their USA signature basses.... and that's all he knows of them.

I figured it's either zinc, brass, or aluminum....all of which will be fine for me.

And it's awesome you mentioned the Peavy basses, because this will be powder coated black and then put on my BB75 Carvin....which is very similar looking.

I was hoping someone could confirm its an ABM bridge. The seller told me a minute ago it is super heavy...so that's a plus. I don't know the sound difference of brass and zinc but I assume now its one or the other.
