ABM bridges--why no love?

Recently, I got a PV Cirrus 5 string (as well as 2 TL-5s, quite a deal!), with an ABM bridge. I was impressed by the simplicity & excellent machining, so I went on ebay, and won 2 gold 5 string bridges, one for $51.90 shipped, another for $32.87 shipped.

Is there something I'm missing? Some curse on these bridges?
I don't get it...

The ABM's are / were standard fare on Peavey Cirri amongst others. My headless tuner assembly is ABM, as well. Downside: 4 hex screws per saddle....saddle insert lock, channel (intonation) lock, and 2 height adjustment screws. Unlike the near-equivalent Hipshot A style with variable barrel saddles, the ABM saddles sit well above their respective "housings" and give a little more breathing room when tweaking side-to-side for spacing preferences. Not a big deal; just something I noticed.

Curse? When I got my Peavey Cirrus, I couldn't find my car keys for all of 15 minutes. Does that qualify or do I have to be attacked by an evil mummy?

every one i've seen has been nice as well. (watch out though, i've also seen ABM copies that look real similar but are way cheaper, and deservedly so.)
