About to use spray adhesive, words of wisdom?

So I'm at the point on building my case that I'm about to use my 3M 90 heavy duty spray adhesive to adhere the fabric I am using to the case itself. There were some defects in the wood (and with the way the pieces fit together) and I covered parts with Hardcast foil tape. So, a decent amount of the area being covered is a foil surface, and not wood. Will this make a significant difference in how it applies, or if it will apply? Also, any words of advice on using spray adhesive?

If your not sure about the product your using then I would try it on some scrap and see how it works.

I've made a few cases and usually the spray adhesive works very good on wood to fabric.
