Active Ibby Volume Trouble

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, so Santa brought me a rad gift this year, (Ibby SR406) However, I'm having volume issues. I changed the battery out, did a complete setup on it, and still, I am having volume troubles. I'm having to turn my 30w Randall all the way up with both the passive and active inputs. I'm also having to turn my computer's volume all the way up when I plug into my sound card.

So, I guess I'm asking you guys what you think the problem is. Is there some kind of preamp gain control I'm not seeing??? If it helps, I have stock Ibby DX6 pickups and pre.

Thanks,
-ryan-

I think it may be your amp... 30 watts is not much, BUT you ought to check the battery in the bass.
