Adding a Jazz pup to a pbass - NJ bassist needs help

So, I have no woodworking skills ... At all. I can install guitar hardware all day, just can't do the wood part. However, I think I am going to want to add a jazz pup to an American Standard p-bass, make my own tony Franklin so to speak.

Can anyone recommend a good New Jersey shop that can do this job?

What part of the state?

I'm in hunterdon county. Eastern pa would be ok too.

Sorry, don't know of anyone up there.

Monmouth or Ocean County I'd say Paul Unkert.

no offense to paul or you or anyone, but ill never let paul touch one of my basses again. if you're going to go all the way to toms river to see paul, go see billy instead. he did a good job of undoing all the bad work that paul did to my bass. been going to him ever since with many basses

How about posting some proof of your claims?

proof is long gone by now. bad fret job, buzzing frets, terrible set up, intonation not even close, total misrepresentation of the state of the neck and truss rod. as i said, fixed now and playing like a dream... of course its just my optinion, but i think he has no business setting up a serious player's bass or touching a vintage instrument. setting up band instruments for a grammer school is another story...i dont want this to turn into a paul bashing / defending thread, so i will end it here by saying this is my opinion, feel free to find out for yourself
