ADGC Project Bass

I'm going to start a new project setting up a 34" scale to ADGC using hex core nickel rounds, and not sure what to use for the low "A".

I'm going to use 70 / 90 / 110 for sure, and either a 130 or 135 or 140 for the "A".

The D'Addario STC shows the 140 as the best match for "A" to equal the tension of a 125 tuned to "B", but seems awfully big to me.

I use 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 for DGCF, and is the perfect tension IMO for that tuning - - - so my thinking was 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 for ADGC ...

What do you think ... will a 130 be OK ... or larger for "A"?

Thanks Guys

i tried tuning down to A with a 35" scale bass using 130 and it was still floppy.. so i am guessing 140 would do it.
