adj truss rod then playing?

is it ok to play a bass right after doing a truss rod adjustment? (loosening) I dont see any problems,I just want to hear your opinions.

I don't think it'd hurt your bass, but the sense I get after doing a bunch of setups on my bass is that the truss rod adjustments take a little while to fully settle in, so it might continue to change for a while as you're playing it. Of course you'll want to check your intonation, etc., after making that adjustment.
