Adjustable Bridge for String Spacing:

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Cort GB75 5 string Lakland style bass.
The string spacing seems too large for me as I did put very light gauge strings and tuned it to EADGC tenor tuning.
The space after the 12th fret is even larger.
So I need a new bridge (5 string) that is VERY flexible, adjustable to 16 mm. or 16.5 and 17 mm.

My Cort is the older version so it is not the new version that has an adjustable bridge....
U can check it out :

Sorry for 2 of the same thread...There was an error on the page..

The only bridge I can think of that offers that kind of flexibility is a Schaller roller bridge. I'm not sure if it would fit in your application without some modification. That's a nice bass though! If the newer Cort has an adjustable bridge, maybe you can purchase one straight from them?

What scares me is that the strings might be too far from pickup holes....??

Kahler fixed bridges are adjustable.

Mine looks like a MusicMan Bridge. And it looks beautiful on the bass.
SO I wish I could find one that looks like MusicMan Bridge.
Do the sell musicman bridge separately?
Is it adjustable?

This one seems good.. Which string spacing number should I choose?
Choices vary from .669 to .750. Would they all fit my Gb 75? And are they
all adjustable to the same millimeters?
