Adjusting neck - Carl Thompson bass
Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,
I own a 36" 4-string CT bass and need to adjust the neck.
Usually, an Allen key do the trick but CT uses a truss rod nut...
Any help on which truss rod wrench I'm to use ? Maybe the 5/16 ?
Thanks in advance
Stephan

I would call Carl himself. It's the safest bet.

I know Stewmac sells one that has a 1/4" hex nut.
Can you take your bass to the hardware store and just size up the ratchet?

Thanks for your help, guys.
I'm pretty sure Carl uses Gibson truss rod nuts so I'll go and order a 5/16 wrench.
I'm in Europe and this kind of wrench (inches) is hard to find.
