Advice on customizing my bass.

I'm a big fan of both Marcus Miller and Billy Sheehan. So this might get a little tedious on the ears, so bear with me. I have a Fender Jazz Marcus Miller Sig., and am planning on fitting in the following components:

1) DiMarzio® Will Power™ Middle Bass Pickup - this is between the two jazz pickups. I am hoping to wire it thru a completely different output, ala the Yamaha Attitude Bass.

Also, I intent to put these so that I don't have to change settings or even put on a new bass. In simple words, I cant afford another bass so I'm modifying mine. I want to put in either the pickup I mentioned above, or if possible(pardon my ignorance) a pickup that will serve as a ramp so I can play fingerstyle really fast. A soapbar shaped one would be ideal. I intend to position the new pickup really close under the strings, with a clearance of 2-3 mm. Will that effect my slap and pop or hinder my playing in any way? The other pickup in my head is the Nordstrand MM4.3, since I plan to do the fingerstyle using it as a ramp for my fingers. Also, I'm worried it might give me the sound that I already have, since I want a whole different tone from the new pickup.

2) Kahler 2400 bass tremolo - I'm not a luthier, so am not really sure if this is the exact model that I need to work with. But then again, thats the whole point of asking you guys.

For the Fender Jazz pickups:
3) Audere JZ6D Preamp,
4)Stellartone Tonestyler for Bass
5)Creation Audio Labs Redeemer
Any idea how these are?

6) EMG PA2 Preamp Booster for the new pickup I'm putting in.

If I've missed out or overlooked any details, please let me know. Also, I'm pretty apprehensive if all of this will fit in without me having to make the cavity any bigger, but I'm ok with that.
Thanks.

That's what I'm hoping for, but yeah, it was a point that I considered. I'm going to have it done by someone else, and I'm bad with the technical specs, thats why I wanted/needed help. If it's a lost cause, I'll just go with the feasible options among the lot.

That's ok. I've been saving up. I have a budget of about 650$, so yeah, hopefully it'll all fit in there.

Well the willpower and the Kahler trem are about $500 shipped by themselves. You can expect to spend the rest of that in installation, I'd imagine, since you need someone qualified to do the routs and wire the pickup to your existing control plate.

I don't think #s 3-6 will fit in the budget, however.

Hmm, alright. 1 and 2 it is for now. Is it a feasible idea? I mean, i know Billy Sheehan's bass was built with the intention of having dual output, and the fender jazz bass wasn't designed keeping a tremolo in mind, so what I'm saying is that I dont want to put in the money or effort just to find out that it's going to kill my bass.

PS-Sorry for the trouble, and thank you for the time and patience.

do the pickup yourself if you have the tools i did mine with a dremel tool,it was rough but i practiced a bit and made my own pickguard for p pickup on a jazz bass, the pickguard i finalized had a marcus miller look to it. the trem is going to be definitely a pro job. as for the rest of your mods... baby steps bro.you might be over-working the tone of your bass ,theres a mighty might preamp underneath the bottom part of the pick up,and the input jack was moved to the side of the bass. if you search the hardware setup reapir forum youll see alot of modded basses (jazz/p pickup) heres a pic of mine

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll just go with the pickup for now. And yes, baby steps it is.
