OK, here are a few candidates. Note that I am on a budget and am actually looking to buy one used (eBay, CL, TB):
  • Planet Waves Tru-Strobe
  • Peterson StroboScope (very attractive as it has a DI and is a pedal)
  • Peterson StroboFlip (I like the fact that it can stay on a stand and works with a remote)

Any other suggestion?

Thanks!

Turbo Tuner

Much cheaper & much better than the Petersen models.

The Turbo Tuner doesn't have the Feiten tunings built in, but you can program then in yourself.

+10000. Remember, the Buzz Feiten tuning comes into play mostly when setting intonation, not when tuning on the gig. Therefore, having a tuner with the Feiten offsets that is not true strobe accurate is kind of a waste of time.

The Turbo Tuner is the thing... and is just as 'gig friendly' (i.e., almost freaky fast tracking, even of the open B string, and a stage friendly readout) as it is on the set-up bench.

There are two models that are the same price.. one designed as a 'true bypass' stomp box for the floor in between your bass and amp, and the other a 'set on top of the amp' model designed to be fed by the amp's tuner out (that model also has a mic for acoustic tuning.

IMO!
