Aftermarket 4 saddle bridge for '51 P or Tele bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about modding my '77 Mudbucker Tele bass to a non-strung thru style bridge with 4 saddles. Does anyone make a direct replacment bridge that will line up with pre-existing screw holes so I won't need to re-drill?

Fender's American Standard bridge from the Mid '90s to a few years ago are a drop-in fit for top load only.

The Fender American Standard Deluxe from the same era are also a drop-in fit and give you string through or top load options.

Look for the "DLX Chrome Bass Bridge".

Good call on upgrading. I've had my fun with 2-saddle bridges but now I'm over it.

Does anyone know if a Hipshot A Series bridge will work for these basses too?

Thanks!

John
