Am I Crazy, or...

does every bass I own have a slight upbow?

The action gets noticeably higher as I move up the neck - is this natural? I'm thinking not.

I've been playing and setting up my basses for years, but this just keeps happening.

Help?

The string height above the frets will increase as you move up the neck towards the body. This is just a matter of geometry

Josh: Given the fact that you had to ask, I'm guessing "not with a ruler."

So, to answer your question, I don't believe so.
