Amp repair in NYC or BK?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all, I have a Stewart World 1.2 that I need fixed. Sounds like it's a secondary short. I can send it back to Stewart and have them fix it for $60 an hour with free parts, but thought I'd check here to see if anyone can rec anyone in the city.

My tech can't do the repair and she suggested dBM audio, but they charge $125 an hour (min 1 hour) plus parts.

I replied in the Amps forum. The Stewart folks are nice people, and they turn the work around quickly.

You already have an hourly quote from dBM, and they don't know the amp as well as the Stewart guys do.

I had a PA200B repaired in September. Cost $100 plus shipping and they turned it around in a few days.

Thanks for the advice. I think maybe it's ultimately faster to go directly with Stewart.
