The angle of the saddle (and therefore the string)....

Does it have any effect on the sound? If the saddle is higher on one side than the other? Just curious, or should it always be set evenly?

Individually adjustable saddles with 2 adjustment screws should be adjusted evenly.

I'm interested to see why they should be even? Will it affect the sound, or damage the bass? I have too many "curiousity questions" I think
