Annoying Fret Buzz

Sign in to disble this ad
I know this will sound incredibly stupid, but this fret buzz I'm experiencing is incredibly annoying. This has been going on for about a week... I play a 6er, and I only have fret buzz on the G string on the 5th to 10th fret -___- ... Should I just sand down the frets? Raising my action does nothing, and I am completely stumped at this point.

I would see if the neck needs adjusted. Where do you live? seasonal changes can effect the neck. I had to adjust my truss rod about a month ago when it started to get cold and dry outside.

And no other strings buzz on those frets? Strange indeed.

Could it be a bad string?

I live in South Florida, but it hasn't gotten cold yet ... And about it being a bad string, I'm not sure, because it sounds perfect on every other fret. I'll probably just end up resetting it and changing the strings on it
