Any advice on "parts build" project?

Sign in to disble this ad
I think there are threads on this, I just want to know some tips you can share (or other thread links) to pick the best parts for a home P or J build.
I want to make it for cheap, and probably use a stain with tung oil finish.
I want to hear from experience who to avoid, or who to buy from.
Allparts
Warmouth
USACG
etc.

You need to be a little more specific about what you're looking for. All of the places you mentioned are fine for parts.

If I were going to make a bass like that, I'd probably go with a Mighty Mite body and neck, and then get the rest of the parts used from here in the TB classifieds. Ebay is the place to pick up the Mighty Mite stuff.
