Does it make a difference pertaining to fingerboard action if a string is wound an extra wrap around the tuning key peghead?

On straight headstocks more string wraps will help pull the strings tightly over the nut. I have yet to see or feel a difference in the action.

Thanks, I didn't think it would, just wondering if anybody experienced the notion, perceived or otherwise.

I have mistakenly wound the string so that it comes off the top of the 'peghead' instead of bottom. Dunno if it changed the action, but produced a string/fret buzz near nut. Otherwise - I don't think it matters
